What is All Addictions Anonymous?
All Addictions Anonymous is a support organization in place to help any type of person struggling with any type of addictive behavior.
There are lots of wonderful organizations out there for people looking for help with addictions. But sometimes, for whatever reason, you can't find one that works for you or you're looking for additional support.
Perhaps you live in a smaller community and find it difficult to find a support group or fellowship that focuses on your addiction.
Or maybe your specific addiction is particularly embarrassing/socially stigmatized, and you don't want to admit what it is to anyone.
Or you may have more than one addiction and find it easier to go to a single meeting.
You may also be a person who has conquered one addiction, only to find you have substituted another, different one, in its place, and you are discouraged from talking about your secondary addictions in your primary 12 step fellowship.
Whatever your circumstances, we are here to help.

Bringing people together
We bring people together, not based on the kind of addiction they have, but instead on the mutual need to recover.
We believe this works because your addiction, whatever the form it takes, may be a symptom of a common spiritual problem we all share.
Being in a group like this means you are supported by those who have been through their own struggle with addiction, and have recovered by using a common solution.

Our values and beliefs
We believe there is no wrong way to get support. What you need at one point may be
different from what you need at another. You may find that you need to
attend multiple groups, or need to connect with the right person who can
reach you.
AAA exists as an option for you. You can attend no matter what your addiction is. You can attend our group as well as others if that's what works for you.
We believe in the tradition of anonymity. We don't need to know your name. You don't even have to tell us what your addiction is if you don't want to.
We also believe in the importance of rigorous honesty. We know how difficult it can be to be honest with others, and especially ourselves. We've all had to face that challenge in our own lives. It's a journey and we are here to help you as you travel.

How AAA works
Our program is based on the 12 step program originally created by
Alcoholics Anonymous and follows its traditions and principles.
We hold meetings which are open to everyone, regardless of the uniqueness of their pattern or patterns of addiction. There are groups in place in countries around the world.
We can also match you with a sponsor to support you and work with you one to one.
If you feel it would be useful to be matched with a person who has dealt with the same kind of addiction as you are struggling with, we can make that happen for you. Even if that person is not in your area, we can arrange support over the phone.

Is it right for you?
Our program is not the only way to recover from addiction. It may not
even be the best way for you. There is simply no wrong way to get
better.
But we have found a way that works for many people who want to recover from a single addiction, multiple addictions, or get on a path to being free of any and all addictions for good.
There are no dues or fees for All Addictions Anonymous membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. All Addictions Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop acting out in a pattern of addiction--free from all mind altering substances. Our ultimate goal is permanent recovery over all our addictions.
If you think you are interested in learning more about our program, or to find out if there is a meeting near you, contact us.
